Using the SDK Compiled HTML Help File

The new beta SDK includes a number of programming samples and a workbook to help get you started. Once you unzip the SDK files, the path for these is located at
...\Beta - Octane SDK (.NET) v1.0.0.6\OctaneSdk\

In addition, there is a Compiled HTML Help File named "OctaneSdk.chm" which describes all the namespaces and classes in the SDK. It is located in this location:
...\Beta - Octane SDK (.NET) v1.0.0.6\OctaneSdk\Help

Some systems will initially block the opening of this help file, in which case you will see something like this:



If this is the case, you need to right-click on the OctaneSDK.chm file and select "Properties".

Next look down near the bottom of the Properties window and you should see a button labeled "Unblock" as shown below:



Once you click this button the help files should be viewable.
